Trying to install Phidgets on Macbook Air M1 on Sonoma 14.5 but getting this error "Phidgets Driver Failure" Failed to load Phidget USB Driver: App containing system extensions to be activated must be in /Applications folder. Also tried installing the regular one that also says I need to give kernel permission but can find where to give the permission. Anyone know a way to fix this error?
There should be a section "Some system software requires your attention before it can be used."
click "Details..." and enable the Phidget extension.
For the standalone control panel, you need to copy it to /Applications and then open it from there. Make sure you're not trying to run it from the disk image or another location.
I'm on a Mac M1 Tahoe. Installed the driver. Getting the error code: 4 that it failed. I moved it and opened it from Applications. Went into Privacy and Security but don't see any messages to allow. I'm trying to see my DataPro/DLH1000 thermocouplers for my roaster. I was able to open the Phidgets control panel ok but it would'nt find any hardware. Now I get that it failed. any help would be greatly appreciated.
