no .kext file after install

my OSX version is 10.11.16 El Capitan
I downloaded the DMG for 10.11.+
Ran the pkg. It apparently installed. All the other files are present, as listed in the help file.
But the file /System/Library/Extensions/Phidget.kext is not there.

Having the same issue with Os X 10.10.5

It seems that the .kext file has been put into the other Library....
There are 2 on my mac.... one under /system/library and another /library/ at the same level as the system folder.
However when I move the .kext file I still get the same error message form the Control Panel saying "Phidgets driver failure Kext load failed (Code: 4).
Im using Os X 10.10
Anyone with any ideas??

Hi,
Phidget.kext lives under /Library/Extensions since macos 10.9. You may have a Phidget.kext under /System/Library/Extensions from an older install.
There is currently an issues with the 10.7+ installer for 10.9 and 10.10 - this is going to be fixed by a new release later today.
