network server: "firmware upgrade available"

When I start the network server in the phidget22 control panel, I see text in red at the bottom of the window that says "Firmware Upgrade Available." I don't know what this refers to.

All this means is that a Phidget that requires a firmware update was plugged in (either locally or over the network) while you were on the network server tab. You can find the Phidget in question by going to the Phidgets tab and finding the entry with the red bar and double-clicking on it.
