VCP1002_0 Voltage Input Phidget - Update Rate

The VCP1002_0 Voltage Input Phidget is really useful for measuring current through a shunt resistor as suggested, and having multiple ranges going down to 10mV is perfect. However, the sample rate of 25Hz max is very slow, and moreover is slower than other phidget sensors.

I wondered if anyone can say what limits it's speed?, and if there is anything that can be done to speed it up. For example if it is run in a fixed range rather than auto-detecting range, can it run faster?

Any plans on a faster version in the future?

Thanks.

We've looked into it, and it looks like there is indeed headroom to get VCP1002 to go faster, with an expected new minimum interval between 10-20ms. Expect an update in the coming weeks.
