Phidget 1048 help

Hi there,

This is probably a very basic issue and I just can't get my head around it...

Trying to set up a Phidget 1048 for a coffee roaster connecting to Mac, the Phidget driver and roasting software are both picking up the Phidget source however reading from both the driver and software don't look to be correct.

It is using J type TC and inputted on the correct channels, what (if anything) I get is either nothing or a high negative reading (-300oC) that then increases as I actually heat the roaster.

The only thing I can think of is that it may be a wiring issue from the manufacturer who installed the Phidget?

The default thermocouple type is K, so make sure that the program you're using has the connection configured as a J-type. Also ensure the connection is secure, since a loose connection can result in unusual temperature readings.
