In the Phidget control panel, the RTD input is giving error Saturation Detected.

I disconnected the RTD probe and still have this error.

What is going on?

The saturation error can also mean that there's no probe connected or there's a break in the wire of the probe (because electrically, a disconnected probe looks the same as a probe measuring a very high temperature).

If you still get a saturation error after hooking the RTD back up, it's possible there's a break in the wire or perhaps the cable of the RTD got too close to the heat and the cables inside melted and shorted.
