Access Control with Applescript

Post by ace7010 »

Does anyone have or is aware of an Apple script written to use the RFID Reader for tag number, and verifying status from a Filemaker Pro database? I've been looking the example is written in Java. I had hoped someone had one I could modify before I reinvent the wheel.
Thanks

There is a plug-in for FileMaker which supports the Phidgets RFID boards. It is from a company called 24U.

https://www.24usoftware.com/Phidgets/

I have used their plug-in for several of the Phidget boards, but not the RFID ones.

Pat, Thanks for the info, I have the 24U plug in. I will have to learn more about reading a FOB via the RFID reader and performing a script to do a find and then address the driver on the Phidget device based in contents of another field in Filemaker. I guess I have some studying to do. I just hoped someone had already done that.
