Re: Versatile Input Freq Counter and 5V Sensors

I have the same question. Unfortunately, the PSU2000 is not carried by the local dealer here in France. However, I was wondering if I could just use a vint port as the 5v source. Much as the analog ifKit ports can be used to power a relay.

Re: Sensor value is ouside the valid range...

The numbers you gave match up almost perfectly: 0.535 v/v -> 57.766 °C on the 1125's temperature sensor (or 1124) 0.535 v/v -> 61.771 %RH on the 1125's humidity sensor... You were right. I must have not been paying close enough attention and had selected the humidity sensor. Sorry for wasting your ...

Indeed. This did the trick... Thanks.

Re: Sensor value is ouside the valid range...

Nope. It is set as a temperature device. I am measuring the exit pipe on a hot water system.

1054 input question

I am using a relay to switch the 5vdc source from a 1054 frequency counter back to its positive input. The negative input is tied to the onboard ground. And there is a 4.7k ohm resistor between positive input and ground (pull-down). The displayed input frequency can be around 0.5hz or around 4h.z Ho...

Re: Sensor value is ouside the valid range...

A little additional information on my preceding post. At the time the range error was reported, the 1124 was showing a temperature around 57° (0.535 V/V) in the Phidget Control Panel. With no errors being reported. Interestingly, if the phidget is actually open in the control panel, I do not see the...

Re: Sensor value is ouside the valid range...

While we are on the subject (and in the context of another thread I started. I find that with the 1124/1125 analog temperature sensors the initial sensorValue sent after setting sensorType always yields this error:

Code: Select all

Sensor value is ouside the valid range for this sensor.
Any ideas?
