Static IP Ethernet Direct to PC Issue. Again.

Hi, I am finally getting back to my project with 5 HUB5000's connected to a switch, then to a PC controlling my machine. I seem to be quite horrible at network related issues, because I am well into my second day of trying to get these things to communicate. I was hoping that someone will take pity ...

Hazardous Location / Explosion Proof Stepper Motors

Hi, I have a machine build almost wrapped up with stepper motors that may need to meet 'explosion proof / Hazardous Environment' requirements. Does anyone know of a source, preferably in Canada that makes Nema 23 steppers that meet those requirements? I have found some Nemaa 34's, but nobody seems t...

Multiple VINT hub to switch to PC connection issue

Hi, I have been working on a project that requires 5 VINT hubs that I want to connect to a network switch and then to the control PC. I have it set up for testing now by plugging the VINT hub into my DSL router on my network, but the final configuration will not have the router. Is it possible to pl...

Re: CBL4301_0 Cable suitability for inside an energy chain

Excellent, thanks. According to this table, it is suitable for flexing applications within certain temperatures.

CBL4301_0 Cable suitability for inside an energy chain

Hi, I am considering using the CBL4301_0 cable for a project with 18 stepper motors and need a cable that can tolerate flexing in an energy chain about 50 - 100 times per day. The motion is fairly slow and the minimum radii of the energy chains are about 80mm. Are there any further specs for this ca...

Syntax question for serverdiscovery

Hi again, Working through my VB NET project with a VINT hub and Stepper controllers. The simplest code example I found so far that I can relate to was the Python 4a Stepper sample code and I'm trying to use that as a guide to tell me the individual steps I need to accomplish to get this running in V...

Re: Stepper Simple example errors in VB NET

I pasted a copy of the folder INTO the Stepper AND Stepper-simple folders, and now the errors come up with a few less missing pieces:

These missing items do not appear in the object browser either.
