I experiencing som trouble running Phidget 2.1 on a windows 11 machine. I know that Phidget 2.1 is out of support. But the trouble is we have an old program using 2.1 and when the old pc broke down we bought a new NUC pc with windows 11 on it, not thinking it would be at problem.
When the computer is booted both Phidgets and programs start up as it should. Everything works just as it should. All Phidget inputs is picked up by our game. Then aftter some time the inputs from the phidgets get slow and is being transferred in clumps. Seems like it is hanging somewhere on the “way”. If you keep tapping the buttons then the input goes through but late. So if tap button “A” once and then five times on button “B”, then on fifth tap button “A” goes throught and sixt tap button “B” goes through. So seems like all data is coming through nothing is lost just arrives in late and in clumps, and you need to activate the buttons several times to get the data through.
When I open phidget control panel I can tell that the phidgets are in use. If I disconnect both phidget boards from the pc and put them back in, the error persist. Sometimes it helps to close the program that uses the phidgets and sometimes you need to reboot the machine before it works again.
Some days the setup runs all day with no problems at all, and some days it only runs a short time before the problem exist.
We are running Phidget 2.1.8.243 on windows 11 pro N. We have two Phidget 1012 (0/16/16) boards connected.
Does any one have any ideas on a solution? Any help is appreciated.
