CBL4301_0 Cable suitability for inside an energy chain

Post by danthoskin »

Hi,
I am considering using the CBL4301_0 cable for a project with 18 stepper motors and need a cable that can tolerate flexing in an energy chain about 50 - 100 times per day. The motion is fairly slow and the minimum radii of the energy chains are about 80mm. Are there any further specs for this cable that might tell if it is suitable for this? I know some cables are specifically for static applications while some will tolerate limited motion and others are designed specifically to be flexed, but I have no idea what type this one is.
Thanks,
Dan

CBL4301_0 is described in our system as "UL2464, 4-Conductor 16AWG OD7.1mm Shielded Wire". You may be able to find more information by searching up the "UL2464" standard.

Excellent, thanks. According to this table, it is suitable for flexing applications within certain temperatures.
