The easiest way to get all the Encoder channels working is to start with the
Encoder example for your language. Then duplicate the channel as many times as necessary, being sure to address each one properly, as shown in our recent article
Addressing Many Phidgets, or in our video on
addressing Phidgets. To access all encoders on a 1047, you will need 4 Encoder channels.
The functions to enable and poll the channels are available in the API tab on the product page for the device, after selecting your programming language from the drop-down menu. In your case, that would be the
1047 product page.
