Using phidgets to measure LPG pressure in artisan

Post by Lukehawkins »

Hi,

Is there a way to do this? I couldn't find any señor that would do this on the fidgets website. Just wondering if anyone knows of another sensor that could be read by a phidget 1018?

We don't sell any kind of sensor that can measure the LPG pressure. Our only gas pressure sensors are designed for dry air pressure.

Your best bet would be to find a digital gauge that's specifically designed to measure the pressure inside a liquid gas canister, and also has an output that can be read by Phidgets (0-5V, 4-20mA, etc). And even then you'd have to make sure that Artisan has a configuration that supports it.

You might find more helpful suggestions on a coffee roaster forum with more users that have Artisan builds.
