Andorid + reader 1024b

Hello, I am new on Phidgets...I have to connect the reader 1024b to Android tablets via usb port and before purchasing the hardware and submitting the project/budget to my client I'd like to be sure 100%. Is it working straight away or there is some further installation of drivers/software to do? Is it a problematic process that would take me to to troubleshooting?

To have the Phidgets run directly on the USB port of the Android device, you will need to have an app that uses the Phidgets, and includes the Phidgets Android libraries.
Your best bet is to start from the
RFID example for Android.
Instructions on how to run the examples, or how to import the libraries into an existing project can be found on the
Android Java Language Page
Integrating Phidgets into any project is going to take some programming.
