Data logging and control

Postby mtempley » Fri Jan 06, 2012 6:02 am

I'm looking into using Phidgets and Flowstone for my project, as they seem to be able to do what I want at a sensible price, but I wanted to check just in case. Just for comparison, using National Instruments hardware (cRIO) and software (LabView) this would cost in the order of around £12k. The project sponsor felt that this was a little steep.

The project involves:
Controlling 2 motors
2 load cells
8 pitot tubes
2 thermocouples

Is this feasible?

Thanks in advance.

Sure that's easy enough. The only thing we don't sell ourselves are the Pitot tubes but provided they have the appropriate output type there shouldn't be any issue in interfacing them with our boards.
