Making a Wireless Sensor?

Postby martins9 » Wed Feb 10, 2016 9:35 am

Hey guys!

Total beginner here and I am wondering if anyone has advice on how to make one of the Phidget spatial boards wireless. I need to figure out a way to mount the board on the users wrist and read the info into max/msp.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Shane

Getting the Phidget spatial wireless on someone's wrist will be difficult, since Phidgets require a computer running an operating system (Windows, OSX, Linux) in order to run. It may be more feasible for you to buy accelerometer, magnetometer, and gyroscope ICs and talk to them with a small Arduino-compatible chip like one of the Atmel ATTiny chips and a bluetooth module.
