1135 - Precision Voltage Sensor (Higher Voltage)

Postby jisaacs » Wed Jan 05, 2011 1:10 am

Has anyone used the 1135 Precision Voltage Sensor to measure higher voltages. The voltage source I need to measure is 0-60V. Could a voltage divider be placed in front of the voltage sensor.

Sounds to me like a step-down transformer would be more appropriate to measure the voltage (not to drive any motor). Take the voltage and divide it half.

There's got to be something out there that does this.

Either that or go with the uber-expensive sensor which can measure 250V.
