How to read temperature value in textbox from another form

Postby joe » Thu Mar 01, 2012 3:06 pm

I have a solution with three projects; one of these is the "InterfaceKit_full" project. I need to be able to read the temperature (textBox1) in another form that is within one of the other projects. I was planning on using the temperature values to initiate another control. Any help would be appreciated; I have tried quite a few items listed but all have failed.

Thanks,
joe

Hi Joe,

Try searching google for Sendkeys or Windows Messages which can probably do the stuff you want.

You can check msdn for System.IO.MemoryMappedFiles namespace, use Memory Mapped File (for .Net 4.0 or above) to share data amount projects, or use Name Pipe(for .Net 3.5 or above) System.IO.Pipes
Good luck!
