The slot reducer is designed to allow installation of a 3-5mm thick panel (acrylic, plexiglass or steel/aluminum plate). You will need enough of the reducer strip to completely enclose the panel. This reducer is compatible with PG40 extrusions.
This insert partially fills in the groove of a PG40 T-slot profile so a panel can be pressed in and held in place. Here's a list of compatible profiles:
